THE ITALIAN COMPANY ARTSANA GROUP SPA BORN IN 1966, MANUFACTURER OF HEALTHCARE AND CHILDHOOD PRODUCTS, WOULD BE THE SUBJECT OF A CYBER ATTACK BY THE RANSOMWARE CONTI GROUP.
THIS IS WHAT WE LEARNED YESTERDAY, AFTER READING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF DATA THEFT PUBLISHED BY CYBERCRIMINALS ON THEIR WEBSITE.
Artsana Group SpA is famous for being one of the largest manufacturers in the world of sanitary and children’s items; the group also includes the brands Chicco, Prénatal, Control, Goovi, Recaro, NeoBaby, Giordano, the American Boppy market leader in breastfeeding pillows acquired in 2008 and many others.

In 2016 the private equity fund Investindustrial acquired 60% of it with an investment of 750 million euros, giving a company value of 1.3 billion euros. In October 2016, Artsana Group sold the Lycia business unit, cosmetic and hygiene products, to Sodalco controlled by Sodalis Group for 63 million euros.
According to reports from Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, an American company that provides commercial data, analyzes and insights for companies, the Italian company closed its 2020 turnover with a profit of almost 400 million dollars.
The post published by the group of cybercriminals is an ultimatum for the Italian company, Conti writes that the exfiltrated data will be sold to the best buyer.
Yesterday we sent an email to Artsana Group asking for a comment on the matter, before the publication of this article we have not been given any response.
We will update the article in case of new items
