We can say, with almost total certainty, that behind the attack on Stratton Primary School, in the County of Cornwall, there is the rebranded Hive, a ransomware group dismantled last January thanks to investigations that lasted over six months and conducted by the FBI in collaboration with Europol, the Canadian Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Peel Regional Police, and the National Crime Agency (NCA – UK), all under the supervision of the U.S. Department of Justice.
An investigation that allowed FBI investigators to break into Hive’s IT networks and seize its decryption keys and offer them to victims around the world, the FBI was able to provide over 300 decryption keys to the victims of the ransomware group who were under attack.
The US Department of Justice had announced that, thanks to coordination with German law enforcement agencies and the Dutch national high-tech crime unit, they had managed to take control of the servers and websites that Hive used to communicate with its members, effectively interrupting any possibility of new attacks by the cybercriminal group. Nine months later it seems that some members of the old group have reunited to form the Hunters International group
On the new website, within the Tor networks, only one victim is currently listed, Stratton Primary School. Two blocks of data stolen during the cyber attack on the school’s IT facilities are listed.
The first block of 47.3GB of data, called “Pupils Details”, concerns documents on students of Stratton primary school, the second with “All Data” subtitled “Pupils & Teachers info Network & web credentials Finance” (78.5GB)

As we write, the files present inside the two folders are no longer accessible but in the last few hours, when they were, we had been able to observe, among others, some PHI documents of employees of the school, medical diagnoses on their state of health .
A curiosity that perhaps deserves to be described is what we found in the source code of the Hunters International home page
'Keep calm and go hunting.', 'Everybody wants to eat but few are willing to hunt.', 'Imagine life without hunting. Now slap yourself and never do it again.', 'Opening day of hunting season should be a national holiday.', 'If I\'m not hunting, I\'m thinking about it.', 'Live to hunt. Hunt to live.'
